Economic Loss from School Dropout Due to the Syria Crisis
A cost-benefit analysis of the impact of the Syria crisis on the education sector
Highlights
This study attempts to estimate the economic loss from school dropout by using labour market data provided by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Syria and data from the Education Management Information System (EMIS) of the Ministry of Education in order to build evidence to better understand the impact of the crisis and to provide further support for the education cluster in Syria.
